Traditional Hatha

Through my first love, martial arts, I discovered my second love, yoga. From the very first yoga class, I knew this was something, much like Kempo, that would accompany me throughout my life and always be a source of support. In 2018, I completed a 350-hour traditional Hatha yoga teacher training program, after which I immediately became part of the teaching team. In the following years, alongside gaining experience and building routine, I felt the need to explore the deeper aspects of yoga. This led me, in 2021, to enroll in the Vaiṣṇava Yoga Master’s program at the Bhaktivedanta College of Theology, where I earned my diploma this summer. Currently, I am continuing my studies in theology while teaching yoga in studios, corporate classes, outdoor sessions, and private lessons, sharing the invaluable knowledge I have acquired so far.

I always begin my classes with grounding exercises, including chanting the OṀ mantra. After a warm-up, we progress from standing asanas to ground-level poses, eventually leading to inversions. My teaching style integrates precise verbal instructions with hands-on adjustments, emphasizing proper alignment and actions along key lines of energy to maximize the positive effects of the postures. My classes cater to both complete beginners and more advanced practitioners, incorporating props, modifications, as well as challenges and variations. Sessions often conclude with prāṇāyāma practices, followed by a relaxing and pleasant closing meditation.
